Biography

Award-winning dancer, choreographer, and educator Gianna Hardison is a versatile commercial artist recognized for bringing cinematic artistry, dynamic musicality, and unforgettable performance quality to every stage she steps onto. Her career spans live performance, television production, viral digital campaigns, and national championship choreography. Known for her dynamic performance quality and cinematic storytelling, she has trained with today's leading industry choreographers and recently performed alongside Shakira at the FIFA World Cup Finals. 

Originally from Yucca Valley, California, Gianna began dancing at the age of three under the direction of her mother, Shannon Lamoreux, founder of StarStruck Dance Studio. By eight years old she was competing nationally, training extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, swing, belly dance, and vocal performance. At just thirteen, she discovered her love for choreography and teaching, launching what would become more than a decade of coaching, mentoring, and artistic direction.

Gianna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Communication Studies from California State University, Fullerton, where she received comprehensive training in ballet, Horton, Graham, Limón, Dunham, Afro-Contemporary, jazz, tap, dance composition, pedagogy, rhythmic analysis, dance history, and creative dance education. Her collegiate training strengthened both her technical foundation and her ability to communicate movement with intention, clarity, and artistry. Following graduation, Gianna joined the production team for Disney Channel's Villains of Valley View (Season 2) as a Production Assistant, gaining invaluable experience behind the scenes in television production while collaborating with industry professionals across multiple departments. The experience expanded her understanding of the entertainment industry and reinforced her desire to pursue dance both in front of and behind the camera.

Since then, Gianna has continued training extensively throughout Los Angeles at Millennium Dance Complex, Playground LA, TMilly TV, and Movement Lifestyle under many of the industry's leading choreographers, including Kelley Sweeney, Cedric Dodd, Will Bell, Gianina Paolantonio, Brandon O'Neal, Will Simmons, Jeremy Hudson, and Paul Becker. She has also trained at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and was recognized with the MSA Talent Agency Scouting Award through the Energy Elite Experience for her exceptional artistry, technical ability and detailed learning. Her professional experience includes performing for special class guests Demi Lovato and Kim Petras, collaborating with internationally recognized creator Enola Bedard, participating in viral dance campaigns that earned reposts from both Sean Paul and Shakira, and performing with Shakira at the FIFA World Cup Finals.

Beyond performing, Gianna has become an accomplished choreographer and educator whose work has earned numerous National Championship titles and choreography awards. Her choreography has been featured in NBC's annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade broadcast for the last five years, the original musical Not For Sale, performing arts programs, professional dance showcases, and on competition stages across the country. Throughout her career, she has taught and mentored thousands of dancers while developing artists who have gone on to collegiate dance programs while others have earned professional representation, including signings with MSA Talent Agency.

Known for her versatility, Gianna seamlessly transitions between commercial dance and concert-based artistry while remaining deeply rooted in jazz and musical theatre. Her creative philosophy emphasizes exceptional technique, musicality, storytelling, and authentic performance over spectacle alone. Whether performing, choreographing, or coaching, she is passionate about creating work that leaves lasting emotional impact and inspires the next generation of artists.
